Gordon can create
a painting from almost any photograph but it certainly helps
to have great reference photos to work with. Here are some
tips on how you can photograph your pet to achieve the best
results for a pet painting:
- Use outdoor or
natural lighting.
- Be even with your
pet; don't photograph from above.
- If someone needs
to hold your pet, that is OK! Gordon can paint the hands
out.
- Take at least
four or five clear, in-focus photos. One of the photos should
be a pose similar to what you wish to have as your painting.
The other photos should show detail, markings, and eye and
fur color.
- If you desire
a custom background, include a few photos of your preferred
setting as well.
